I am a senior at Nazarbayev University. Before 7th grade, I hardly knew biology, I associated it with boring botany and zoology. In the 7th grade, I entered NIS and there I learnt how interesting and vast science is. Having tried myself in different disciplines, I decided to focus on biology, namely on the study of mechanisms and processes at the cellular and molecular level. From 9th grade I started to participate in biology olympiads and competitions of scientific projects. I am beyond grateful to my parents, who instilled passion and desire for knowledge in me. Now, I show students how important education is and how charming science can be through Beyond Curriculum.
